Commenting Policy for Baseball Press (US Presswire)
In an effort to keep Baseball Press a civilized environment for everyone who visits the site, we want to remind current visitors and new visitors of our commenting policy. Currently, we allow registered users and "anonymous" users to leave comments on articles. We allow both types of users to leave comments with the hope that it will ignite interaction between readers of the site and the authors of the articles with minimal effort.

Leaving civil comments isn't that hard. If you disagree with an article or have a different opinion, you're more than welcome to leave a comment, but please provide the reasons you disagree with the article.

Listed below are the types of comments that will be removed from the site:
  • Inappropriate language, including swearing/curse words, threats, and insults. Please keep it clean. Adults and children view this site.
  • Comments along the lines of - "This article sucks" or "I've wasted my time reading this". While you may feel this way, others may not have the same view as you. Again, if you disagree with the article, provide the reasons why.
  • Insults or attacks against the authors will not be tolerated.
Current visitors do a good job of keeping things "clean" on Baseball Press, and the staff would like to keep it that way. We also want to keep things civil for new visitors and keep them coming back, helping them enjoy their experience on the website.

We understand that it's the Internet and people are allowed to express their opinions (as we do in our articles). However, we must keep comments constructive and clean, and failure to do so will likely result in bans for repeat offenders.

If you notice comments that violate this policy, please contact us using our Contact Form and will work to review the issue. Our staff will also work to moderate the comments and remove those that violate our terms. As always, if you see anything on the site that appears to be an issue or simply need to talk baseball, you can also use our Contact Form.

Thanks for using the site and enjoy the baseball.
