Gleyber Torres, 2B, New York YankeesThe top rated prospect for the Yankees has bee promoted to the big-leagues, expecting to see plenty of time at second base. He was hitting .347/.393/.510 in 14 games at Triple-A, after a solid spring training with the Yankees.
Over his last four starts, Pivetta has struck out 21 batters in 21.2 innings pitched, while walking only two batters and allowing zero home runs. He's only "won" one game this season, but has been very effective.
Deshields has missed the previous 4 weeks following surgery to repair a fractured hamate bone, but returned over the weekend. He's the teams primary leadoff hitter and should slot back into that role.
After destroying Triple-A pitching, Williamson finds himself back in the big-leagues. He already has one home run since being recalled by the Giants, and even though he hit .487/.600/1.026 with Sacremento, Williamson is likely only a deep-league pick up at this point, but should still see plenty of playing time in San Francisco.
