Grinding Metal examines potential waiver wire additions that can assist your team during the fantasy baseball season. From home runs to pitching wins, Grinding Metal has you covered. Check out these players for immediate roster help. Here was last week's article. Check back for future editions of Grinding Metal.

Brandon Drury, 2B, New York Yankees
Acquired during the off-season from Arizona, Drury figures to split time between second and third base. As of right now, Drury only has second base eligibility, but that should expand to third base with a few more games. He's hitting in the middle of a great Yankees' lineup and plays his home games in a very hitter friendly ballpark.

Hunter Strickland, RP, San Francisco Giants
Strickland is likely picked up already in your league, but if not, rush to acquire him from the waiver wire. Strickland will be filling in during the ninth inning, as regular closer Mark Melancon is on the disabled list.

Joakim Soria, RP, Chicago White Sox
The White Sox might be doing a closer by committee this year, but Joakim Soria picked up the first save over the weekend. The veteran is in competition with Nate Jones; however, Nate Jones pitched during the eighth inning.

Jose Martinez, 1B/OF, St. Louis Cardinals
Martinez, 29, has hit his way into the every day first baseman's job for the Cardinals. After hitting 14 home runs in limited playing time in 2017, he's earned more playing time with St. Louis, hitting fifth in a decent Cardinals' lineup.
