Strasburg Speculation Gone Wild  (Tuesday May 11th, 2010  - by Rob Murray)
It seems like everyone has an opinion on Stephen Strasburg: on his future dominance, when he will arrive in the Big Show, where he ranks all time, etc. This week, Jim Callis of Baseball America proclaimed Strasburg the best draft prospect he has seen since he started with the publication (in 1989). The hype on this kid is out of control, and the resulting pressure on him to produce must be similar to the pressure on a deep sea diver in the Marianas Trench.

With a full slate of games on tap today, the 606 highlights two lefties trying to propel their teams into first place, a once highly touted prospected facing his old team, and a another pair of lefties facing off in a divisional battle.

The 606 - May 10, 2010  (Monday May 10th, 2010  - by Dan Port)
With few games on the schedule today, the 606 checks out a young ace taking on a slumping Angels team, an AL East matchup out in Boston, and a rookie righthander taking on an improved Mets team.
The 606 - May 9, 2010  (Sunday May 9th, 2010  - by Reggie Yinger)
Keeping with the theme of the 606 over the past few days, as the Dropkick Murphys would say we're "Shipping up to Boston" again with another Yanks-Sawx matchup. Also on tap, we have a young rookie pitcher in Cincinnati hoping to remain impressive, and a showdown in LA between two of the best pitchers in the NL West.
The 606 - May 8, 2010  (Saturday May 8th, 2010  - by Dan Port)
Today’s 606 takes us back to Boston for a match between a Yankee ace and a Red Sox up-and-comer, over to Oakland for a bay-area rematch between a couple of hurlers for the Rays and A’s, and up to Chicago where Jake Peavy is still attempting to get his season back on track.
Starlin at the Sun  (Friday May 7th, 2010  - by Nate Springfield)
Friday morning some rumblings started to spread via Message Boards and Twitter accounts everywhere that the Chicago Cubs had called up their number one prospect, shortstop Starlin Castro. This news was met with a little skepticism because of the timing. Even though Starlin had tore up the Arizona Fall League last year and done the same in Spring Training, if the Cubs gave him a major league contract before the end of May they are essentially handing him Super 2 status which will cost the organ
Under the Radar - Mixed (Week 6)  (Friday May 7th, 2010  - by Nate Springfield)
Each week Baseball Press will be providing some Under the Radar fantasy players for NL-Only Leagues, AL-Only Leagues and Mixed Leagues. Scott Olsen da Vinci  (Friday May 7th, 2010  - by Reggie Yinger)
For a guy coming off major arm surgery, Scott Olsen has had a bizarre start to the 2010 season. After signing a $1 million, one-year deal during the off-season, Olsen went from starting in the minor leagues to being one of the best pitchers in the Nats rotation. There will be a lot of buzz surrounding Olsen this week after taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning on Thursday night against the Atlanta Braves. The big question is, "Can Olsen pitch every start with this type of consistency?"
